Using the podcast .... Do I Enjoy it? Check it out ^^

Hi everyone, the topic for this week is podcast. Podcast allows you to listen to all kinds of things online, including news, music, health report and more. I had chosen 3 topics to listen this week, they were piano (http://www.podcast.net/show/41690), Spanish (http://www.podcast.net/show/69294) and the analysing the phenotype and function of regulatory T cells (http://www.podcast.net/show/65563). The reasons I choice them are because I like piano, and I hope to learn some other language for my own sake, and I am biochemistry. major, so I had better know more about what I am doing. Although I really enjoy podcast, but it seems that some of the podcast are no longer available or no more update. Therefore, I feel pretty disappointed about this. The good thing about podcast is that you don't need to worry if you miss anything like TV shows or radio. Overall, I think there are still many space for improvement for podcast and I really like such idea. (ps: I tried to look for the site for the episode I listen to, but it seems there are some technical problem with the site, sorry about this, but I usually just listen to the first one provided, thx).
Beside podcast, there are other choice as well, for example, audiobook. Audiobook allows you to listen to people reading the book online. Although it takes more time when you listen to audiobook, you can always listen to them when you don't have time to read or when you can't read at that time. From our teacher's point of view, when you listen to audiobook, you can usually finish the whole book instead of stopping more often to take a break from reading the book. However, all the books are pretty old already, the book I choice was The Blue Room by Prosper Merimee. From the offering from these sites, it seems that it would be cheaper to buy a book instead of an audiobook. However, if I were to choose an offer, I prefer the second site which cost $14.95/month for one DL, $19.95-$21.95/month for 2DLs and $26.95-$27.95 for 3 DLs. Although I really like the idea of audiobook, but I would prefer reading it myself. Not because they seem to be more expansive, but I just like to hold the book to read. An exception is when I am learning the language or when I get too old to read anything, then I will buy an audiobook I like to listen. Overall, I think the idea of audiobook is great for some but not as useful for others. Therefore, it all depends on how you think and what you prefer. I can't really say much about both podcast and audiobook, but I would recommand you on trying them out, just to see if you like them.
